There are only FIVE days left until October! If you are like me, you are still in mourning that summer will not return for ages. However, October means Halloween costume parties all month long- and playing dress up always brings a smile to my face! Well, what better way to begin the fall season then by attending the Costumes for a Cause Fashion Show at Whim this Friday? You should already know that it is THE annual fashion show to attend, with the hottest models showcasing Hollywood-worthy, sexy costumes for women from the Chelsea’s of New York online store. With the RSVP info taken care of on that blog, I can get to my favorite part: the costumes! Pink, furry, sparkling, mini, and dazzling are just a few adjectives I’d use to describe what will delight your eyeballs at the show! It’s always hard to tell from a package picture in a Halloween store or online shop what a costume will fit like- so this is your chance to see them on real, local girls and then still have enough time to purchase one from Chelsea’s of NY before your Halloween party invites start pouring in. And don’t try to tell me that “you already have a costume to wear this year,” because I guarantee you have nothing like the new line from Josie Loves JValentine! Josie has debuted a whimsical and adorable monster collection full of fun colors and fur- while still being feminine and sexy- and are simply a “must see!”
In fact, I have the honor of walking in the show for the second time and am ecstatic over my outfit that just came in the mail today-Â but must keep it top-secret until the unveiling on Friday night. I will however, tell you it is one of the costumes pictured below, from the lovely J. Valentine. You will see many more just like these, and they are perfect costumes for my Faded Monsters, so get excited!
